THE FRAGRANCE
The actual scent and concentration.

MAISON ORIGIN / MANUFACTURING
We don’t simply connect you with a manufacturer.
We help you understand the process behind the product — from fragrance development and sampling to bottles, atomisers, packaging, costing and production.
You build the first collection with us. You learn how to build the next.

02 / ACCESS
Finding a manufacturer online is easy.
Finding the right manufacturing partner, understanding what to ask them, knowing whether the pricing makes sense, evaluating quality and getting your product from an idea into a finished bottle is considerably harder.
Maison Origin helps you source and communicate with suitable fragrance manufacturers and suppliers.
WE GUIDE YOU THROUGH
01 / EDUCATION
Every Maison Origin client receives access to a dedicated one-hour private fragrance training session.
This is designed to give you a practical foundation in the product you’re about to sell.
We take you behind the bottle and explain the different elements involved in creating and commercially producing fragrance.
Commercial manufacturing and regulatory compliance must ultimately be handled or verified by appropriately qualified manufacturers and specialists for the intended market.
03 / COMPONENTS

The actual scent and concentration.
Shape, glass weight, colour, finish and size.
The spray mechanism and how the product dispenses.
A small component that can dramatically change perceived quality.
Material, weight, fit and visual identity.
Printing, labels, frosting, colour, metallic finishes and other treatments.
Your secondary packaging and one of the biggest parts of the unboxing experience.
How the finished product is protected during logistics.
EVERY DETAIL AFFECTS THE PRODUCT.
EVERY DETAIL CAN AFFECT THE COST.
Professional fragrance production commonly goes beyond simply mixing perfume oil and alcohol: development can involve formulation, evaluation, safety and stability work, compounding, maturation, filtration, filling, packaging and final quality control.
04 / FROM IDEA TO MANUFACTURER
What should it smell like? Who is it for? What position should it occupy?
We help identify appropriate manufacturing partners for the project.
The manufacturer or perfumery begins translating the direction into potential fragrances.
You receive physical fragrance samples to evaluate.
Too sweet? Too woody? Needs more projection? A different opening? You learn how to communicate meaningful feedback.
Further development where required.
The final fragrance direction is selected.
Bottle, pump, cap, label, box and presentation are coordinated.
The approved product moves toward commercial manufacturing.
A finished product carrying your own name and brand.

05 / MANUFACTURER ACCESS
One of the major advantages of Maison Origin is helping you navigate manufacturer sourcing.
Instead of starting from zero, we help connect you with manufacturing options suited to your product direction and guide you through the conversations.
And we don’t hide those relationships from you.
YOU LEARN HOW TO
THE GOAL ISN’T DEPENDENCE.
THE GOAL IS ACCESS + KNOWLEDGE.
06 / UNIT ECONOMICS
Depending on your selected manufacturer, order quantity, fragrance, bottle and packaging configuration, certain projects may potentially achieve finished-product manufacturing costs in approximately the $10–$20 USD per-bottle range.
This is not a guaranteed cost. Final pricing depends on fragrance formulation, concentration, MOQ, bottle selection, atomiser, cap, decoration, packaging, freight, duties and other project requirements.
Maison Origin helps founders understand these variables so they can make commercially informed decisions before committing to production.

07 / QUALITY
Manufacturers routinely evaluate areas such as fill accuracy, pump and closure performance, leakage, packaging compatibility and presentation during production and quality control. These aren’t minor details.

WE DON’T WANT TO KEEP
THE MANUFACTURER A SECRET.
WE WANT TO TEACH YOU
HOW TO WORK WITH THEM.
Your first fragrance is the beginning.
The real value is understanding the infrastructure behind it well enough to continue building your house.
